Green Deal Free energy improvement in England

The Green Deal, which should start in 2012, is a new and radical way by the British government to allow private companies to provide energy efficiency to all at no initial cost. The cost of the works to redevelop the property will be paid with the money saved on energy bills. The Green Deal is available for both residential and commercial buildings and will offer new opportunities for small and medium size. For example, the number of people employed in isolation could rise from the current 27,000 to 100,000 by 2015, and reached a peak of 250,000 in the next decade.
Consumer safety
Trust is another important feature of the Green Deal that, through accreditation, quality marks and insurance coverage will provide protection for consumers on the effectiveness of rehabilitation work that will affect their homes. In particular, customers will receive tips on how to make their buildings more efficient, there will be rules that will prevent deceptive or unfair sales practices and creating a quality mark "Green Deal" special.
New rules
Consumers will be able to repay the deal through a tax on energy bills and when an occupant moves the fee will be charged to the tenant. The Secretary of State shall have the power to establish regulations for future occupants which require homeowners to carry out these improvements in energy efficiency, since there are no initial costs against them.
Finally, new requirements were established for the supply companies that will give additional support to low-income families and for those whose homes are more difficult and expensive to upgrade.
