SOLAREXPO GREENBUILDING Verona (Italy) 4-6 may 2011

BOOKINGS NOW OPEN FOR GREENBUILDING 2011
Verona exhibition centre from 4-6 May 2011

Feltre, Italy, 27 September 2010 – Work has started on the fifth edition of Greenbuilding, the international exhibition and conference on energy efficiency and sustainable architecture, to be held at Verona exhibition centre, Italy, on 4-6 May 2011.

Bookings officially opened last week for Greenbuilding 2011. Most exhibitors from previous editions have already confirmed their attendance for the next event. In addition, many new companies have expressed an interest in taking part in Greenbuilding 2011.

We’ve already started work on organisation and have received many requests to participate at the next edition of the event,” explains Sara Quotti Tubi, director of Greenbuilding. “This confirms that our trade fair is taking on an even more important role nationally and is now successfully affirmed in its own right.

Various new elements are planned for 2011, above all a large outdoor area to provide exhibitors with a suitable space to display their products, one that gives ample demonstration of the technological potential they can bring to sustainable architecture. The external exhibition area, marked out by with a special design in keeping with the event’s overall theme, will be set up as the entrance to the Greenbuilding exhibition hall.

The two special projects – Illuminazioni and Solarch – will take centre stage in 2011.

A third edition of Illuminazioni will be back for Greenbuilding 2011: the specially created showroom dedicated to excellence in construction. This year the project will focus on the topic of energy retrofitting historical buildings. There has been widespread confirmation of the success of the last edition of Illuminazioni.

Rockwool Italia said: “We jumped at the chance to take part in Illuminazioni 2010 since we were excited by the original and extremely innovative way in which our solutions would be presented. The distinctive setting and interactive presentation of solutions, in the context of an established trade fair for new energy efficient construction technologies, allowed us to give an extra dimension to our participation as exhibitor.”

Gyproc Saint-Gobain said: “The Illuminazioni 2010 showroom was created from a truly innovative concept, which was all important for promoting dry construction systems.”

Solarch - building solar design & technologies – provides a bridge between Greenbuilding and Solarexpo and represents the unison between solar technology and contemporary architectonic language. The enormous interest generated by the first Solarch project has prepared the ground for the 2011 edition, which aims to present proposals for the low-carbon building trade with a renewed concept and updated technological content.

Greenbuilding will be held alongside the 12th edition of Solarexpo, the international exhibition and conference on renewable energy and distributed generation: two events coming together within a single strategic vision to offer the most complete overview of products, technologies and solutions from the fields of renewables and sustainable architecture.

Join us at Greenbuilding and Solarexpo on 4-6 May 2011 at Verona exhibition centre.
